All Or Nothing

Salvation is 100% God’s Grace –
– it just happens to be accessed by man – through Faith.
From that point on… God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit guarantee your security,
The 3 persons of the Godhead each guarantee to keep the saved sinner – eternally.
Scripture gives astonishing proofs, promises and pledges of this wonderful truth –
But many Christians miss this point – and allow human reason to take over…
Believing God’s Word in this matter.. means that a believer LIVES under grace…
– resulting in a Grace-Promise-Faith way.
NOT Believing God’s Word in this matter.. means a believer LIVES under law…
– resulting in a Law-Works-Merit way rather than a Grace-Promise-Faith way.
It is a simple matter of choice –
1) living God’s way
2) living man’s way
A believer who doesn’t live Grace-Promise-Faith way – doesn’t negate God’s truth,
A believer who lives the Law-Works-Merit way – does not validate man’s choice.
Living the Law-Works-Merit way doesn’t invalidate what’s clearly outlined in Scripture,
Once a person has been saved – eternal security kicks in immediately.
The 3 persons of the Godhead EACH guarantee to KEEP that saved sinner –eternally.
The Father promises eternal assurance and security as seen in Romans ch 8.
The Father predestinates, calls, justifies and glorifies.
And note, that this is written in the the perfect ‘tense’…which means.
A past action guaranteed to be fulfilled in the future –
This is one guarantee of many – from the Father
The Son guarantees eternal assurance and security as seen in John 17.
-where he asks the Father to Securely Keep and Sanctify ALL believers.
And in John chapter 10 He give a double assurance that they are secure in His Hands:
none shall pluck [them] out of My hand,
and none shall pluck [them] out of my Father’s hand.
This is one guarantee of many – from the Son.
The Spirit pledges eternal assurance and security as seen in Ephesians 1 and 4
Believers are clearly told that they are sealed with that Holy Spirit,
Sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise -
Sealed unto the day of redemption.
This is one guarantee of many – from the Holy Spirit.
The Father, Son and Spirit guarantee eternal assurance and security – for ALL believers,
This is the guarantee for ALL believers – who live the Grace-Promise-Faith way,
But this is ALSO the guarantee for ALL believers– who live the Law-Works-Merit way.
This is the guarantee for ALL believers….Period
And I, Jesus will pray the Father,
and the Father will give you another Helper,
that He the Holy Spirit may abide with you (all believers) FOREVER—
The Word of God has multiple such passages…
– equally authoritative passages guaranteeing eternal security
But you know what the problem is?
Faith in God’s Word…. Just Trusting God!
Some believers just don’t believe God’s Word of Truth
So they cite passages with nothing to do with salvation – as contradictory proofs,
And do you know WHY ?
They SEE with their EYE and THINK with their BRAIN…
And prefer to look at life experience – to back up a fallacious, human argument,
Or they refer to the experiences of others as ‘proof’ – against the veracity of Scripture.
They may believe that eternal security is 99% correct – but they have that 1% doubt,
And Guess WHAT ? – that 1% doubt affects 100% of their Christian life.
And you Know WHY ?
They see themselves as at the 1% to which isn’t secure
And as a result they live a life that cant accept the truth of scripture – HOW SAD.
Without security and assurance of salvation – there’s no stability in a believer’s life,
Without confidence in God’s Word– there’s little peace or solidity in a believer’s life.
It ALL rests on the Grace of God –
And it’s gained BY MEANS of FAITH in Him
If a man doubts only 1% of God’s Word – he may as well doubt it all,
For unbelief in one ‘small’ matter – can impact the entire life of a Christian….
And unbelief in the matter of eternal assurance and security – is DEVASTATING.
It is ALL or it is nothing – which is a principle that is seen throughout God’s Word.
With regards to Salvation…which is being born again :-
A Sinner is ALL saved OR ALL lost – there is NO in between stage
With regards to the Christian Walk…which is called Sanctification :-
A Believer either trusts ALL God’s Word or throws doubt on the entire scripture.
A Christian either lives the Grace-Promise-Faith way or the Law-Works-Merit way,
– its all or nothing.
Scripture throughout witnesses to eternal assurance and security of the Believer…
– ALL of which from beginning to end – depends on grace of God,
- NONE of which from beginning to end – depends on input from Man.
Now Sin causes a break in the communion and fellowship between God and man,
– but sins committed has nothing to do with the security of the believer.
Carnality causes a break in the communion and fellowship between God and man,
– but carnality has nothing to do with the security of the believer.
Dead Works done in the flesh causes a break in fellowship between God and the believer,
– but dead works have nothing to do with the security of the believer.
Life Experiences may cause a believer to doubt that he is eternally secure man,
Feelings may cause a believer to doubt the scriptures that teach this truth,
Pressures in Life may cause a believer to have these doubt,
– but Life Experiences, Feelings and Pressures are no criterion for God’s truth.
From the MOMENT that a sinner BY FAITH believes in Christ as saviour –
God undertakes to keep that believer (from birth) assured and secure – eternally
It remains God’s responsibility from that day forward- Forever,
Scripture is replete with this truth – that we are all Accepted In Christ – Forever,
Salvation is 100% God’s grace – and is accessed by man through Faith,
From that point on… Scripture GUARANTEES the believer’s security.
