“For the Father is greater than I.”

“When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be your name.”—“To my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.”

“But I do as the Father has commanded me.”—“The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.”

The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.—“You have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.”

Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that is enough.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?”—“I and the Father are one.”—“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love.”

“[The woman’s seed] shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”

His appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the children of mankind.—But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed.—“But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”—“You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above.”

The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.—And he… cast out many demons. And he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him.

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”—“In my name they will cast out demons.”

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
