What Does 1 Corinthians 1:9 Mean?

God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 1:9(NASB)

Verse of the Day

We are the called of God, the chosen of God, the elect of God, and enriched by God's grace simply because we believe God's Word and trusted the Lord Jesus Christ for our salvation. And God is faithful and just to fulfil all that He has promised to those that are called and chosen, to those that trust His Word.

It was God Who planned the redemption of mankind before the foundation of the world, and by the grace of God, through faith in Christ, we have become the children of God and joint heirs with the beloved Son of His love.

We are set apart unto God and called into fellowship with His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. We who trust in His redeeming blood for salvation have been promised eternal life, a heavenly home, and joy for evermore according to the riches of His grace. And God is faithful and just to fulfil all that He has promised to those who have trusted in Christ.

God is the One Who called us and chose us, enriched us and seated us together with Christ in heavenly places, and He is faithful to His keep Word, even when we prove faithless towards Him.

Let us endeavour to live our lives as unto Him, for we were bought with a price (the precious blood of the Lord Jesus), and have been called into the fellowship of His Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You that You are a faithful God, Who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Thank You that I have been called into fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ. May I live to His praise and glory, day by day. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.
